Patient Information
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is vital to recovery after having surgery. You may arrange to see your physiotherapist anytime after leaving hospital. In many cases a physiotherapist will see you during your inpatient stay.
Return to work/driving/sport
Returning to physical activity after orthopaedic surgery needs to be carefully considered and is usually achieved slowly.
Getting you back to your pre-injury activity is our ultimate goal. Speak to Mr Petterwood about your rehabilitation and when you should expect to achieve your goals given the specific procedure you have had.
